Therese Watson-Weir is a Director of Watson Weir Coaching Resources, a partnership with associates who specialise in partnering people to success so that they can experience consistency of excellence.
Therese’s background is primarily in the Hospitality and Information Technology industries. She started managing businesses 13 years ago while studying year 12 and went on to graduate from university in Business Management. Since then, she has successfully co-owned 5 small businesses in the entertainment, food and motor vehicle industries.
Therese is an experienced Certified Coach. She has worked with individuals, businesses and executives to help them raise the bar to achieve their next level of performance: from taking control of the direction of their life to strengthening personal/team relationships to lowering executive stress levels to challenging high achievers to work even smarter. Her wide range of clients have included pharmacies, health food stores, independent health care professionals, all levels of management, international T&D consultants, teachers and students.
She studies Coaching methodologies on an ongoing basis to maintain as a high a standard as possible and stay abreast of the latest international Coaching benchmarks. Her additional qualifications include Workplace Health & Safety Officer, Workplace Rehabilitation Co-ordinator, Justice of the Peace (Qual.) and Senior First Aid.
As part of her commitment to raising the public awareness of the benefits of Coaching, she integrates her love of writing into her business by writing weekly columns for the Sunshine Coast Daily. She has also been published internationally in hard cover (Life Balance by Alan Weiss) and publishes a free monthly ezine called ‘Life Matters NOW’. Therese can also be heard daily on the Sunshine FM Business Lunch.
Her absolute passion is work/life balance for parents & her vision is to have all businesses be ‘family friendly’.
