Penny is a nationally accredited coach and qualified trainer with advanced skills as a highly effective communicator and educator. Her business is Capacity Life Coaching - a division of Sagacity Services, a business partnership with her husband.
Designer of the
Coaching Coat, her coaching focuses and passions are:
She conducts corporate and community public speaking courses, provides individual speaking coaching and conducts Youth Leadership Development courses in schools. She also gives her time to voluntary Youth Leadership Programs in Toastmasters and helps with adult Speechcraft courses. She has an Advanced Leader Award from Toastmasters International, was awarded Area Governor of the Year 2001 for District 73– peer acknowledgement of her leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
She has always lived by strongly held values and maintains her philosophical bent that was confirmed in university days. She loves horse-riding, dancing (when her knees can take it), music, gardening and anything that appeals to her sense of humour, having a quirkiness to be excited by organisational systems that increase efficiencies. Real but responsible freedom in life and personal choice to follow dreams and goals, not someone else’s, ranks right up her scale of importance.
Her most recent altruistic campaign was to organise some fundraising for the Solomon Islands Triathlon team who badly needed some new goggles and swimming equipment. This will be a long term interest as a late learner of swimming and as a former Phys Ed teacher.
